Says Dr. Campbell Will Be a Partner in Solving San Diego’s Public Health and Homelessness Issues.
San Diego – Former State Assemblymember and candidate for San Diego County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher has endorsed Jennifer Campbell, MD in her bid to represent San Diego’s 2nd City Council District, the campaign announced today.
“Dr. Jennifer Campbell will bring a much needed perspective when it comes to solving San Diego’s most pressing issues. Whether it’s public health or homelessness, she’ll dive in using her experience as a doctor and a community advocate. Her fearlessness and dedication to serving our community is exactly what San Diego needs in City Hall and that’s why I’m proud to endorse Dr. Campbell for City Council,” said former Assemblymember Nathan Fletcher.
Dr. Campbell continues to gain support from community leaders and elected officials in her campaign. In addition to Former Assemblymember Nathan Fletcher, Dr. Campbell has earned support from Congressman Scott Peters, Congressman Juan Vargas, State Senator Toni Atkins, Assemblymember Todd Gloria, and former State Senator Christine Kehoe.

As a Family Medicine specialist for the past thirty-seven years, Dr. Campbell has taken care of people of all ages and backgrounds. She is running for San Diego City Council’s Second District because she believes San Diego needs accountable leadership. She has been an active member of the San Diego community since she moved from Pittsburgh more than a decade ago. Here in San Diego, she has taught Integrative Medicine at the Doctoral and Masters levels at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has advocated for her community through volunteering on civic projects, working with charities, and serving on the Board of Directors of the Clairemont Town Council and the San Diego County Democratic Party Central Committee. Dr. Campbell lives in the Bay Ho neighborhood of Clairemont. She and her partner Suzanne have six children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is The Doctor on Call to Fix City Hall.
